By accessing or using Squints ("the Service"), operated by Squints AI ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Squints is a software platform that allows coaches and training facilities to record voice notes, generate session recaps using AI, and send professional reports to parents, athletes, and other stakeholders. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.
The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Prices are listed at the time of purchase and may change with notice. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, cancel within 30 days of your first subscription charge and contact us at hello@squints.ai (so we can hear what went wrong). A full refund for that initial payment is only available after you reach out; we do not process refunds automatically. After 30 days, or for any renewal payments, no refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Our subscription plans are designed for typical usage patterns. If your usage significantly exceeds what is reasonable for your plan tier (including but not limited to excessive API calls, storage, transcription volume, or number of emails sent), we reserve the right to contact you to discuss a custom pricing arrangement that reflects your actual usage. We will provide reasonable notice before any pricing change takes effect. If a custom arrangement cannot be reached, we reserve the right to limit or suspend your access to the Service.
You agree not to use the Service to: send spam or unsolicited communications; upload content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service; use the Service for any purpose other than its intended coaching and communication functionality; circumvent any usage limits or access controls; or share your account credentials with unauthorized users.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for any violation of these terms or for any conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service, other users, or our business interests.
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including voice recordings, text notes, and athlete information. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not sell your content to third parties. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the Service.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to transcribe audio and generate session recaps. AI-generated content is derived from your input and is provided as a draft for your review. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it is sent. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated transcriptions or summaries.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Squints AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Squints AI, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
